Children love Big Maths!

Yes, you read that right!

Children love Big Maths! They look forward to challenging themselves each week because Big Maths encourages children to focus on beating their own scores.

Nothing we say can convey this sense of enjoyment and achievement, so let’s see what the children think of it:

I like Big Maths because I like to beat my score and challenge myself.” (Ellie Y3)

I love Big Maths, it’s fun and fast and I am learning all the time.” (Y5 child)

It’s one thing reading it, it’s another seeing it, so have a look for yourself – @BigMaths

Trust Matters!

Big Maths makes learning a consistent, friendly, and fun experience for children. This helps to foster a feeling of trust which can develop into enjoyment and love of maths. Children trust ‘Big Maths Beat That!’ The challenges are very personal, so much so that the intensity often builds before holidays! They know their last scores and are determined to beat them!

Share information from the ‘Tracking’ area with children… they love to see their progress over time.

Big Maths Beat That!
Easier Online.

Children love completing the challenges online, and teachers love removing the need for marking. The children’s scores are automatically saved into the system and teachers can easily access their results. The Learn Its challenge is timed because children must answer the questions as quickly as they would respond when asked their name (unless they have a specific learning difficulty). The faster they can answer it, the better.
