Who we are
Big Maths is run by Andrell Education Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05331897). Our registered office is Premier House, High Street, Crigglestone, Wakefield, WF4 3EB. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZA134895.

What we collect and why
Contact form and demo requests. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, school name, email address, phone number and your message. We use this only to reply to you. Our legal basis is legitimate interest: responding to an enquiry you have sent us.
Demo bookings. When you book a demo, your booking is handled by Microsoft Bookings, and Microsoft processes your booking details for us. Microsoft’s privacy statement is at https://privacy.microsoft.com.
App waitlist. When you join the waitlist for the Big Maths Beat That! app, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name, your child’s school name and any comments you add. We use this only to tell you when the app is ready and, if you left comments, to read them. Our legal basis is your consent.
News and marketing emails. If you have agreed to receive news about Big Maths by email, we use your name and email address to send it. Our legal basis is your consent.
Every waitlist and marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing support@bigmaths.com.
We do not knowingly collect information from children on this website. Our forms are for adults.
Where your form details are held and how our emails are sent
Our contact form and our waitlist form are provided by Pipedrive, the system we use to manage contacts. Pipedrive stores what you type into these forms on our behalf. The forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which means Google receives some technical information about your visit.
Our waitlist and marketing emails are sent through Mailchimp, which is run by Intuit Inc. in the United States. Your name and email address are therefore transferred to the United States. We rely on Intuit’s certification to the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, to protect it.

Cookies and similar technologies
Essential. Some cookies are needed for the website to work and stay secure, such as a session cookie (PHPSESSID), the cookie that remembers your cookie choice, and security tools that protect the site. These do not need your consent.
Analytics. We collect analytics only to improve our website and our service. We do not sell or share analytics data with anyone else. The providers named below process it on our behalf:
- Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google), loaded through Google Tag Manager. Counts page visits and clicks on buttons such as “Book a school demo”, “Get Started” and “Log in”. Cookies:

Records how visitors move, click and scroll on pages, and produces heatmaps, so we can see where a page is confusing. Clarity masks text typed into forms. Cookies, when set:

Meta Pixel. We post about Big Maths on Facebook and Instagram, and we use the Meta Pixel (provider: Meta Platforms), through the PixelYourSite plugin, to measure how many visitors reach this website from those posts. When the Pixel runs, Meta receives information about your visit (such as the page you viewed and your browser). Meta may link this to a Facebook or Instagram account and use it under its own privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy); for this, Meta and we are joint controllers. Cookies: _fbp (up to 3 months) and PixelYourSite cookies (pys_*, pysTrafficSource, pbid), which record how you arrived at the site. Manage Meta advertising: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences. The Pixel also sends the same information to a Meta Conversions API Gateway, a server we run on Amazon Web Services in the United States, which passes it on to Meta. Transfers to the United States are protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
We use analytics cookies, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel only if you agree. The Meta Pixel runs only if you accept marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies in more detail.
Providers we use
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share analytics data with anyone else. These providers handle data for this website on our behalf. Apart from Meta for the Meta Pixel (see Cookies above), none of them may use it for their own purposes:

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on legal safeguards approved for UK data, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have data processing terms in place with each of them.
How long we keep your data
Contact and booking details: up to 2 years, then securely deleted, unless we have an ongoing contract with your school.
Waitlist details: until the Big Maths Beat That! app launches and we have told you it is ready. Then we delete them. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove them sooner.
Marketing email details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Analytics and advertising data: kept by Google, Microsoft and Meta for the periods set in their own services.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: ask for a copy of your personal data; have it corrected; have it deleted; ask us to restrict how we use it; object to how we use it; receive it in a format you can take elsewhere; and withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent. To use any of these rights, contact us (see “Who we are”). We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last revised” date at the top shows when it last changed.
