Price stable as your school grows (see details below)
How pricing works. Simple and fair.
Subscription prices are based upon the cost to run the system for an average school.
One annual subscription
A fixed yearly fee, simple to budget and explain. No per-pupil calculations. No surprise add-ons. No complexity.
Typical primary school
For an average school (around 180 pupils): £1,500 + VAT per year. Whole-school access to Big Maths Online and Big Maths at Home for every teacher, every class, every pupil.
Support where it matters
We actively support small schools and unique contexts. Adjusted pricing available. Prices reflect your school’s context, not just number on roll.
The whole system, one price.
Everything your school needs for maths in a simple subscription.
Big Maths Online platform
Full access for the whole school: every teacher, every year group. Planning, resources, assessment, and tracking all in one place.
15,000+ resources
Lesson PowerPoints, teacher guidance, pupil worksheets, spaced practice resources linked directly to every learning step.
Assessment & tracking
Beat That! challenges online with automatic scoring. Live learning gaps. The data is always available, providing flexible, dynamic tracking and reporting for any purpose.
FREE access to Big Maths at Home
Included at no extra cost. Every pupil can complete practice challenges and activities at home. No separate subscription required.
Price stability: We don’t increase the price for growth above 180 pupils unless you approach very large-scale use, for example, when you double your number of pupils or go above 400 on roll. Most schools will never need to think about thresholds.
Small school? We’ve got you.
Small and rural schools face the same expectations with fewer resources. Our pricing is adjusted to keep Big Maths accessible, without reducing quality or support.
Reduced pricing available
Everything included: same platform, same resources, same support but with pricing that reflects your context. No “punishment” for changes in pupil roll. Talk to a person, not a calculator.
Growing school? No problem.
We can count on one hand the number of schools who have had to increase their subscription cost because of additional pupil numbers. Growth rarely changes your price.

Easier to justify to stakeholders: predictable cost and a coherent system.

Frequently asked questions
Short answers, clear reassurance.
Do you charge per pupil?
No. Our pricing is based on the cost to run the system for an average school. We don’t believe schools should be penalised for roll changes.
What does “typical school” mean?
We define a typical or average primary school as 1 site with approximately 180 pupils.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
The licence runs for one year. There’s no long-term contract, you renew annually. We’re confident schools stay because it works, not because they’re locked in.
Does the price increase if our school grows?
We only review pricing for very large-scale use, e.g. when you double your number of pupils or go above 400 on roll. Most schools will never need to think about thresholds.
What if we’re a small school?
We offer adjusted pricing for smaller schools. Contact us with your details and we’ll provide a quote that reflects your context, not just your number on roll.
Are there any discounts?
Discounts are available through our referral scheme, for multi-year subscriptions, and for smaller schools. Request a quote and tell us about your school so we can help.
Is Big Maths at Home included?
Yes. Every school subscription includes Big Maths at Home access for all families at no extra cost.
Can we see it before we buy?
Yes. Book a free demo and we’ll show you the platform in action including planning, resources, assessment, and tracking… live, with time for your questions.
